Wager's intricate, hand-wrought jewellery often featured distinctive Australian motifs, including gum leaves, and utilised precious stones like opals and yellow sapphires. Throughout her career, she created approximately 12,000 pieces, each meticulously crafted and documented in her sketchbooks. Her studio in Martin Place became a hub for clients and she actively contributed to the Society of Arts and Crafts of New South Wales.
