Irene Byrne is a distinguished jeweller whose journey began in the bustling heart of Sydney's CBD in the late 1980s, alongside her husband. What started as a manufacturing venture swiftly blossomed into their first jewellery store, setting the stage for an inspiring career. With their business naturally evolving, Irene and her husband expanded into diamond wholesaling, traveling internationally to curate exquisite collections.

Driven by a profound passion for antiques, Irene immersed herself in the world of historical jewellery, cultivating a deep knowledge of ancient pieces. This passion led her to open a boutique in Blackheath, nestled in the picturesque Blue Mountains, in 2005. Her keen eye for detail and extensive expertise quickly earned her a sterling reputation among both locals and Sydney visitors, who sought her out for her exceptional abilities and industry insights.

In 2016, Irene embraced a new chapter by opening a second boutique in the charming town of Leura. The overwhelming demand from her clientele led her to focus her efforts entirely on this enchanting location, closing her Blackheath chapter to devote her attention to her Leura clientele.

Today, Irene is a constant presence in her store, welcoming visitors with warmth and enthusiasm. She invites you to drop by or schedule an appointment to explore her world of jewellery, where her passion and expertise are always at your service.

 

Andrew Byrne
Lead Jeweller and Gemmology Expert

Andrew Byrne is an influential leader in the jewellery industry, bringing a blend of extensive knowledge, technical prowess, and invaluable hands-on experience to the business. His academic journey is marked by excellence, having graduated with a Diploma of Gemmology in 2015, where he received the prestigious NSW Management Committee Award for achieving the highest mark in the state. In 2019, he further honed his skills by completing a Certificate III in Jewellery Manufacture, equipping him with a practical and technical approach to the manufacturing side of the business.

As a qualified diamond grader, Andrew's expertise in evaluating and selecting diamonds adds yet another layer of excellence to his professional career. His passion for rare and collectible jewellery is unparalleled. He travels both locally and internationally to acquire extraordinary pieces, with a keen interest in works by renowned master jewellers such as Cartier, Tiffany, and Boucheron, as well as the more elusive maestros like Raymond Yard, Hennell, Renée Boivin, and Janesich.

Dividing his time between the workshop and the office, Andrew is perpetually in pursuit of the next extraordinary piece to enhance the store's offerings. His dedication to finding exceptional jewellery ensures that each addition to the collection is nothing short of spectacular.

Jana Hunt
Digital Marketing Manager

Jana Hunt is the innovative Digital Marketing Manager and the creative powerhouse behind our digital content. Her journey with us began at the young age of 16, where she quickly honed her sales skills and developed a deep understanding of gemstones. Her passion for the field led her to complete a Diploma in Gemmology in 2007, solidifying her expertise.

Driven by her love for design, Jana pursued further education and, in 2010, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Design from the University of New South Wales, all while working part-time in the business. Her commitment to excellence didn't stop there; in 2017, she expanded her skill set by earning a Diploma of Diamond Grading to enhance our selection of high-quality stones.

With 20 years of industry experience, Jana is the creative force behind our designs, custom-made pieces, and online content. Her expertise and passion make her an invaluable asset to our team and a trusted advisor for our customers.

 

Charlotte Westerlundh
Senior Sales and Content Specialist

Charlotte is a dynamic force in our team, seamlessly blending her full-time role in sales with her position as the head of all social media creative content. Joining us in 2015 with a solid background in Naturopathy, she quickly immersed herself in the fascinating world of gemstones and jewellery, mastering their rich history with remarkable efficiency.

Affectionately regarded as our Queen of social media, Charlotte is a familiar face both in-store and online. She passionately updates our Instagram with the latest and most exciting acquisitions, captivating our audience with her engaging content.

Her natural and grounded approach brings a refreshing perspective to the business, effortlessly sharing her vast knowledge with clients. Charlotte provides an insightful, spiritual lens through which our antique pieces can be appreciated. Her kind, calm, and mindful nature makes her an invaluable member of our team, as she continues to enrich our business with her expertise and creativity.
