Pear Shape Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring

From circa 1980s, we have this ruby and diamond cluster ring. The centre, pear shape ruby is 0.40ct claw set in 18Kct white gold, within a cluster of diamonds. The reverse tapered band is in 18ct yellow gold. This setting is traditionally referred to as a daisy cluster, but because of the pear shaped ruby and consequent setting o diamonds, this design plays more on the sacred geometry and snowflake vibe.
